Linda get's Hangry

I'm getting better at reading the signs.  I could spend hours trying to decide which restaurant to go to.  Reading the menu, assessing the atmosphere, looking at the wine list.    For me it's like when I was a little kid, looking at the Sears catalog trying to figure out which bike I wanted.  As soon as I decide, some of the fun is over.  I'm committed.  I feel the same way picking out a restaurant.  Linda on the other side is much more pragmatic.  She also has a much shorter time span from  the time she starts getting hungry and the time she must eat now.  Usually about 10 minutes.  Now when I hear the "so where do you want to eat, I know the meter is ticking".  Last night the decision was relatively easy.  There was what seemed to be a nice restaurant about 200 feet from the hotel and it was raining.  We held off until about 8:30 this time.  Entered an empty restaurant except for the one other American that was most of the way through his meal.  Turned out to be a really good choice.  The lights were low (something that you don't see much of in Spain or Italy), quiet (of course we were the only diners there although it did fill up after a while), nice music, great service and good food.
