A quick trip to France

Decided to take a ferry to France.  It's about a ten minute boat ride across the estuary that divides the two countries.  Cost 1.85 E each way. Takes about 15 minutes to cross.  Ferries run constantly.  You can really notice how Basque things are on the Spanish side.  You see lot's of Basque berets and Basque language on the signage on the Spain side, but the French town of Hendeaye side is pretty much just french even though they are also Basque.  Seems that the French have been more assimilated into the French culture than have the Spanish Basque who seem to be more tied to their Basque heritage.
