I don't think I can wait that long

We are spending a couple of days in Hondaribbia Spain, located on the border between Spain and France.  Hondaribbia is a beautiful little port town, former fishing village.  It almost looks like a Swiss Mountain village.  Beautiful sort of timber frame houses.  Again, big wide well maintained walking paths.  After lunch, the streets fill up with walkers of all ages.  Old people, including us, families, with strollers, and young teens out on their own.  Really pretty amazing to see so many people out for a walk.  Seems like after 3 or 4, it becomes ice cream time.  It seems that everyone's got ice cream.  No wonder the eat so late, they are all full of ice cream.  We are still struggling with the dinner hour.  Restaurants don't even open for dinner until 8.  If you choose to eat at 8, you'll be either dinning alone or eating with any Americans that happen to be in town.  If you want to eat with the Spanish you'll have to wait until 10.  Still can't wait that long.
