Selinunte

On the south west cost of Sicily, not too far from Sambuca is the Greek town of Selinunte.  Destroyed by the Carthaginians.  A huge historical site, ruins are spread out over a couple of miles. Only the one temple was partially rebuilt in the 18th century.
