You can get a bad meal in France

The second day that we were in Amboise, we were wandering around for lunch looking for someplace. We could not find a place that we both agreed on.  We decide on this casual place called "Creperie Ann de Bretonne".  I think it's  a chain like Chillies.  We did make some rookie mistakes.

1. Rookie Mistake #1.  We walked in an stumbled over the simple "inside or outside" question.  That immediately cheesed off he matre de (well he wasn't really a matre de but you know).
2. Rookie  Mistake #2  After we told him inside, he shows us a table in the corner, right next to a large party with small children.  The children were already screaming.  We expressed our displeasure in this and asked for a different table.  With a roll of his eyes the matre de shows us to a table outside that had to be sitting  at a 20 degree angel.  The whole meal we were fight things sliding off the table

Service was mediocre after that and so was the food.  I think we have learned from our mistakes and don't bother going to "Creperie Ann de Bretonne"

Almost all of the meals, even the simple one that we have had so far have been really good with the exception of this one.
