British Air San Diego To London

This is my first post from France.  We took the British Air Flight direct San Diego to London, and now I'm spoiled with direct flights.  Unbelievably this is the first time that we've gone to Europe and actually had to pay money.  All the other flights that we have take have been done on milage from my credit card.  It was so nice to have a direct (well nearly direct) flight to Europe.  Normally a pretty grueling trip was made much easier by having the bulk of it in one large block.  It left San Diego at 8 PM (actually it was late a was more like 9PM).  Great because you were able to work all day begin your vacation right after work.  Got on board ate dinner and was actually able to sleep for 6 or 7 hours.  That was fantastic.  Surprisingly with all the Brit's take about their food, it was 10 x better than the disgusting rubber chicken and ketchup that we got on our last trip to Amsterdam on American Airlines.  British served a chicken curry that was actually almost good.  The best part was the sleep.  That was the most I have ever slept on a plane even if it was assisted by a little ambien.  Sleep was good
