The full english
September - 20th - London
It seems that every time we come to England, the Romanticism of the Full English Breakfast makes me want to order it. This time is no different. We went back to our local pub, "The Hope" and ordered the Full English Breakfast. I think that partially it is that Italy does not believe in breakfast. I don't know why in the food crazy country that they ignore a meal opportunity like breakfast. I don't get it but that's the way they do it. I had been missing the bacon and eggs breakfast. Not that I eat it all that often, maybe once in a while, but I do like it. I had been missing a big breakfast so we ordered the Full English Breakfast. Somebody please shoot me the next time I get this idea in my head. This thing is a meat festival. It comes with liver, kidney, bacon, blood sausages (best part of the whole thing), 2 sausages, a fried egg, baked beans and a grilled tomato (why, I do not know). It must be about 2000 calories. It tasted great, it was fun, but way too much food. Please don't let me order this again.
